Henrico Rehabilitation Center Visit
On Saturday, February 17, 2018, UFFI went out to “Henrico Rehabilitation Center” off of Airport Drive in Highland Springs, Virginia. Members of the church decided to bring a little joy to the elderly men and women of the shelter in song, gifts, and ministry. Brother Garcia Harris preached on “Compassion.” He focused on 5 main scriptures and they are: Matthew 15:29-32, Mark 5:18-19, Hebrews 4:14, Luke 7:11-14, and 1 Peter 5:7 which states “Cast all your cares upon him, for he cares for you.” Brother Garcia ministered a very powerful word and all the members that attended prayed for those that wanted prayer after the message. This truly was a blessed experience and we can’t wait to stop by again.
